Nicole Vasseur, LCSW
In my practice, I work with children, adolescents, and young adults, on a wide range of concerns. Each client is unique so I seek to understand her, his, their specific goals and struggles while we collaborate to find solutions, develop skills towards a more satisfying experience in life. My undergraduate degree is in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse. My master degree is in social work from Denver University. I have completed additional specialized training in EMDR, Autism, and DBT. I am committed to continued professional growth and development through ongoing education, training, and consultation on a broad range of topics.
People seek therapy for many reasons, and I believe in people’s ability to make positive changes in their lives and to heal and grow in meaningful ways. I enjoy partnering with clients as it’s rewarding to witness and support individuals in this process. My style is collaborative, engaged, curious, understanding, and direct. I integrate a variety of therapeutic strategies into sessions depending on each client’s needs.
